First snow

Snow, snow . . .

Well luckily yesterday was not my day for blogging. It was that kind of day that had the feeling that your "head was gone" or more correct it felt as the mind was gone. But it is like that sometimes and not much to do about it! Like the qoute I got from a friend:

"That day is still to come . . . . "

And today the first snow for the season, fall down from the sky! Yeak, well as you all know I want summer :-). Sure a sunny day with white snow, then the nature can be wounderful and just amazing. The winter scene can be stunning on those days :-).

But for now it just look like this (look the picture) more or less, not so much snow at all. Maybe that also can illustrate how the head/mind feels, a bit "snowy" :-).

So now my "head" has no moore to say.

Not much, just a bit

Hi all

Well don't have so much to say today just this:

Down
Up
Sunshine
Homesick

That's what it feels today, including a bit dizzy in my head with my new stronger glas in the glasses. But now I at least see very good, not blurry at all :-).

Foggy day, "foggy" head

Hello

Well today my head feels a bit dizzy or perhaps you could say "foggy" :-). Im not sure what to blog about (again)! So as usual I take some help from pictures when I feel like that!

The other day when I biked to work and the morning was quite cold and the ground still warm, then the fog turned up over the lake just outside the office. So just look at the pictures and feel good about that the autumn is here, or feel bad. Hmmm Im not so fond of the autumn as you might have understand. Ohh by the way the pictures is taken by the mobile phone so not the best quality on them.

Enjoy the pictures or not :-). I will end with these words.

does not weigh up to a friend"

Nature and water

Hi you all out there!

Well this is that kind of day that I don´t know what to blog about. So I just looked after some eventually picture to put in the blog. Hmmm maybe say something around them, came my thought. So here are some pictures that I took about 1-1½ week ago on a marvellous Saturday at a small lake with some very good friends.

In these small lake you could actually fish if you had this "fishing card" for the area. It was several small lakes like this and a lot of people out having a nice time and of course fishing :-). We just went out there to have a nice time, a relaxing time and day. None of us had any fishing gear with us but we did barbecue some sausages (Hot Dog) over an open fire. The sausages said "wheeeee-kaboom!" when they where ready to eat. Hmmm well they kind of cracked a bit by that sound :-).

And of course the first reason that we went up there was to see these funny bird houses that a man had done and put up in the trees. There where a lot of them in different sizes and shapes and they had also names, well some of them. It was really funny to see these and that actually some man just doing them and putting them up for just his own pleasure, and letting other people see them. It was a lot of them and I really want to go up there some more time and take some more photos of these funny bird houses. And hopefully have a nice time again with my marvellous friends.

have a nice night

This is last Friday's blog entry; it's rather late as I have been short of words lately. Instead of rambling at length about kayaks and moon bases and other trivial subjects, I give you some words by the masterful John Keats, who succumbed to tuberculosis at the age of twenty-five and whose epitaph reads "Here lies One Whose Name was writ in Water."

On leaving some Friends at an Early Hour

Give me a golden pen, and let me lean
On heap’d up flowers, in regions clear, and far;
Bring me a tablet whiter than a star,
Or hand of hymning angel, when ’tis seen
The silver strings of heavenly harp atween:
And let there glide by many a pearly car,
Pink robes, and wavy hair, and diamond jar,
And half discovered wings, and glances keen.
The while let music wander round my ears,
And as it reaches each delicious ending,
Let me write down a line of glorious tone,
And full of many wonders of the spheres:
For what a height my spirit is contending!
’Tis not content so soon to be alone.

John Keats (1795 - 1821)

Seeing things, small words

Hello out there

In the last blog I wrote I mentioned something about confusing days and weeks. Well I´m still confused in an strange way! A bit the Spanish books that I´m setting (soon finished) has a little bit to do with it too. I don´t know what it is, but it is a strange feeling. In some way I will sort this out (I hope).
As everybody (I think) when they have this kind of strange feeling they need "small" words or maybe a nice picture as encouragement. Well I at least need/want that and I do get it also :-)) from my very best friends here at Bombadil :-)). It is really nice and I appreciate it a lot, maybe more than you might understand. Thanks to you all and a special one too.

The other day when I came home from work and went to the backside of our house I saw it!! A nice thing in the nature that really "hit me". It really caught (fångade) me and my mind. It was a Sunflower that had taken support to rise up, by the apple tree, it was totaly tangled in there! It was so simple and so nice and beautiful, it made me Happy :-)). It is strange that this simple but very nice thing caught me like that!

The sunflower and apple tree that "hit" me. Taken by mobile phone.

So you all out there take a look around you and try too se a bit more than just the thing in front of your eyes. It is just amazing what you can see and will see!

To imagine is everything"

What to blog about today?

Well today it is a day that I don´t know what to blog about at all!!! It is all stopped in my head at the moment!

Well I at least did a banana/chocolate pie for fika today and everyone seemed to like it :-)), at least I hope that. It was kind of a test because I had never done this one before. My co-workers was kind of testing "tasters" (testing pilots) for the pie :-)).

But I have also got a really nice movie from John, it was from YouTube I think. He, well they all know that I like music by Toto and specially "Africa". This one was by/with a choir that started the whole thing by silently clapping their hands. It sounds that it was raining! Really amazing version of "Africa". Thanks, it made me happy :-)), it made my day bright as the sun outside the window. Yes it is sunny a bit today :-)).

At the lake a nice sunny day.

precious and rare. False ones
are like autumn
leaves, found everywhere."

Until next time - hopefully with some idea what to write about!

Sunnny days, rainy days

Happy days

"Summerdays comes, summerdays goes.
And the weather is as volatile as life can be."

Small things like the sun, a nice summers day and getting wild flowers from your co-workers makes your life happy and nice, it makes the day :-)).

Look what I got from John and Sara.

As Sara mentioned we actually had our first bath in the lake next to our office. It was nice and warmer than I thought it should be! We were kind of warm after doing some work on the author school, well I just helped a bit and then the bath cooled us down. We will definitely do that some more times.

We all have our different interests. I love my dogs and old horse, Sara likes riding, John has his kayak building and so on. But on Saturday Marianne actually had persuaded John to take a ride in the forest with me on Sunday, big surprise when I got that sms :-)). But that is typical for Marianne, she can get anybody to do something strange or odd. And we did take a ride for about an our or so on Sunday, I had Ophelia (Marianne's horse) and John had Sunny. He did really well and did not fall of despite Ophelia's very fast turn to the right touching Sunny and him. Well done John. Me then ? Hmmmffrr I was hanging around Ophelia's neck with one foot in the stirrup. Ophelia is totally terrified of calves and sheep but it was something else she saw or heard this time. She will be better in time.

The first book for Gandalf Publishing is sent for printing now !!! Very exciting will it be when we actually have it in our hands. And tomorrow we will hopefully have another book in our hands, and another book is at the printers.

Have a nice evening and take care.
Mari
